Yes. VerticalSolar is specifically engineered and verified for safe installation at elevated heights including 10 to 11 storeys. The clamp and bracket design resists the increased wind loads present at height. No other comparable vertical mounting system carries this specification.

The system accommodates any standard residential and commercial solar PV module — 60-cell, 120 half-cell, and 72-cell configurations are all supported. Any panel watt rating works as long as the module width is 1134 mm. Common supported dimensions: 1762 x 1134 x 30 mm and 2278 x 1134 x 30 mm. Custom configurations available for non-standard sizes.

For safety reasons, tilt is set at installation and fixed. Once installed, panels should not be repositioned. Attempting to tilt after installation is not recommended due to live solar radiation and structural risk.

Yes. Our open-back bracket design leaves the rear of the panel largely unobstructed, allowing bifacial panels to capture reflected light and generate additional output.

Yes. Tested and rated for wind speeds up to 100 km/h. Hardware is engineered to resist both uplift and lateral wind forces.

Yes. Designed to withstand typical European snow loads. For areas with extreme snowfall, periodic clearing is advisable for maintaining optimal output.

Yes. The clamp mechanism secures to most standard balcony railings and fence profiles without drilling. For wall mounting, standard drill anchoring into brick, concrete, or timber is used. Garden frames are stake-anchored and flat roof frames are ballasted, so no drilling there either.

No specialist tools required. Standard hand tools are sufficient: Allen wrench M6 and M8, Phillips screwdriver, wrench or socket spanner, cable tie cutter, measuring tape, safety gloves, and a ladder. A drill is only required for wall-mounted installations.

A single installer typically completes one panel on a balcony or fence in under 15 minutes. A standard multi-panel system, including all mechanical and electrical work, is typically complete in a few hours — the system scales to the surface available without redesign.

Minor irregularities are manageable with the adjustable bracket. For significantly curved or non-standard profiles, contact us before ordering. We can advise on custom solutions.

No. VerticalSolar is a plug-in system. The panel connects to the micro inverter, which plugs into a standard wall socket. No electrician certification is required for basic setups. For installations above 800W, verify local grid regulations.

No. The system is designed for long-term outdoor performance with zero ongoing upkeep. An annual visual inspection is recommended as good practice.

Yes. The mounting hardware is compatible with any electrical configuration including grid-tied, off-grid, and battery-backed systems.

25-year hardware warranty on all brackets and structural hardware covering manufacturing defects and corrosion. Micro inverters carry a separate manufacturer warranty typically of 20 to 25 years.
